Re-Seating The Valve In Your
Air System Occasionally due to dust and road
grime, it may be necessary to re-seat the valve in your Air
System. If you notice your Air Seat deflating within a
few miles, follow these steps to re-seat the valve. 1. Inflate seat (with
blow-up tube) as much as you can. (Do not use air
compressor) 2. Apply pressure or weight
on top of the seat to try and force the air out of the valve.
3. Make a solution of soap and
water using SUDS ONLY apply to the valve to check for escaping air.
4. If suds start bubbling, turn
the inside of the valve back and forth until the bubbling stops.
(You may use needle nose pliers to pull gently on the inside of the valve
while turning) This should re-seat the air
valve. |
