Installation Instructions
For Your Cycle Comm CC-GL1500

The following are step-by-step instructions for the installation of your CC-GL1500 CB radio, for the Honda GL1500.  We recommend that you read over the instructions before starting on the actual work.  Here is a hint for you.  The way these instructions are written, each step is listed in bold print, then just do it and move on to the next step.  If you do not know how to perform the task, then read on and the instructions will guide you through step by step.  Example: The first step is "1.Remove the Seat." If you know how to remove the seat then just do it, if not then read on.

It is recommend that you put your bike up on the center stand and in an area where you can freely move around it.

These instructions assume that you have a CB antenna already mounted on your bike.  We recommend the stock Honda GL1500 antenna, as it will maintain the overall looks of the bike and perform well with the Cycle Comm CB unit.


Step 1. Remove The Seat

Using a 6 mm Allen wrench remove the four allen bolts from the seat back away from the gas tank and lift off of bike.  Note: If you have a drivers back rest you will need to remove it first.  Set seat aside for later.

Step 2. Remove The Two Engine Side Covers

Remove the engine side cover by putting your finger into the tab on the front of the cover and pulling it out and off the grommets.  Pull the engine carburetor cover off in the same manner
