Model CC-1500 40 Channel C.B. Transceiver with PTT Switch

Although this unit may appear to be a conventional automotive C.B., it is far more sophisticated than it appears. We carefully manufacture this unit adding the necessary special circuits that enable our units to out perform and out last any other C.B. Unlike our competitors we put all Intercom, PTT and stereo override circuits within the shielded confines of the C.B.’s metal case. This advanced method provides for lower cost, fewer wires and cables and easier installation. As an example, our model CC-1575 contains not only a full 40 channel C.B. transceiver, but a built-in intercom and stereo override relay. The reasonable price of this model is only $399.00 as compared to our competitors three piece arrangement costing you $967.00.

This powerful, yet small, C.B. Transceiver and C.B. with Intercom are extremely versatile and have been designed for quick installation and removal. Cases are available for mounting on sissy bars and handle bars. See accessory for more information. The Push-To-Talk switch, which is supplied, mounts on the handlebar for safety and convenience. The C.B. can be mounted on motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles and other vehicles which require semi-permanent mounting features. The powerful 4 watt transmitter provides good communications at all speeds with ranges up to five miles, depending on the antenna and the terrain. The optional Intercom is powerful and will provide reliable communication between passenger and driver. The intercom model comes with a passenger cable and a passenger switch to activate both the C.B. and Intercom. This unit has built-in cross talk so the driver and passenger can hear each others transmissions.

The Stereo Interface Relay will allow you to interface any stereo including Walkman types. The stereo will automatically mute when receiving or transmitting a C.B. signal or when talking on the Intercom.

Our customers have informed us that they have successfully installed these models in everything from scooters to the largest Goldwing® and Harley® motorcycles. We do not know of any less expensive way to attain reliable motorcycle communications. Our CC-1500 series will fit in your tank bag, fairing, saddle bag, tour box, between the handlebars, or in one of our leatherette cases designed for handle bar and sissy bar mounts. Although the CC-1500 series is not waterproof, simply covering the unit in adverse conditions appears to provide sufficient protection.

All C.B.s require helmet systems and a C.B. antenna. However, our C.B. is designed to work with all standard 5 pin din headsets. Some of the J&M headsets that use the large rubber ring on the 5 pin din connector will require the purchase of an adapter, our number JM-138 for $15.00. This is only required for the drivers headset. A noise filter may be needed for some installations. If required, use our Model NF-721 for eliminating most alternator induced noises.
